Arundel Cellars & Brewing Co. will be continuing its free fireside concert series in November. All events are held at 11727 E. Main Road (Rt. 20), in North East, PA.
Gem City Revival returns to the Arundel stage with old songs with new soul on Saturday, November 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. Gem City Revival, made up of Abby Badach Doyle (fiddle, vocals); Angela Phillips (guitar, vocals); and Pat Doyle (guitar, vocals), are an acoustic trio keeping honest, rootsy, Americana music alive in Erie Pennsylvania. Together these young musicians bring a striking combination of talent, chemistry and deep respect for the greats in the folk and alt-country traditions they so love. Then, from 6-9 p.m. on the same day, Acoustic Ear Candy is back for an encore performance. Mike and Marie Miller, along with Harry Parker, are an acoustic trio that concentrates on the great songs from ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s. Watch for soft rock/country from the catalogs of The Beatles, James Taylor, The Bee Gees, Jim Croce, Bruce Springsteen, Linda Ronstadt, Mary Chapin and more.
Then, on Sunday, November 5, Arundel will once again host Uncharted Course.
Ed Parady and Kate Marvenko will pack the house with unforgettable sound from 1-4 p.m. Kate has one of the best voices in the area, delivering song after song ranging from Joplin to Chapman to Etta James. Not to be outmatched is Ed’s guitar work, an accompanying framework that showcases the singer at every turn.
SASS Acoustics performs from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 11. The duo, an Arundel favorite, comprised of singer Katie Sadler and singer/guitarist Scott Campbell promise an enjoyable afternoon of acoustic rock, pop and country. Later that same day, Sam Hyman will take the stage from 6-9 p.m. Hyman is a world class musician, vocalist, and composer whose original songs and themes have been distributed worldwide.
Then, on Sunday, November 12, The Chumps, a refreshing young acoustic cover duo from Olean, NY, will make their musical debut at Arundel from 1 to 4 p.m. Watch as Dylan Snyder and Whitney Riley sing tunes from Adele, Tracy Chapman, Sam Cooke, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Janis Joplin, Mumford & Sons, Tom Petty, Alanis Morsett, N’Sync, Elle King, The Cars, and more.
Sam Hyman returns to help celebrate Erie Beer Week on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 1-4 p.m. Known for captivating thousands of audiences with his unique guitar style, soulful voice and new interpretations of timeless classics, Hyman promises yet another afternoon of acoustic melodies.
Winding up November fireside concerts at Arundel are Rankin & Schell on November 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. Rankin & Schell is a popular regional duo featuring Glenn Rankin and Chip Schell. They play classic rock by artists such as James Taylor, Jim Croce, Bob Seger, Beatles, America, Simon & Garfunkel and the Doobie Brothers
